Integra Emergency Microphone Station

The EMS01 Emergency Microphone Station is an EN54 compatible emergency microphone which provides All-Call functionality for making live emergency announcements to entire facilities. The microphone provides EN54 compliant emergency functions and all EN54 mandatory indicators and controls.

The microphone is housed in a lockable wall-mounting box and features a graphic LCD display together with indicators for ‘Power’, ‘Voice Alarm’, ‘System Fault’,
‘Fault’ and ‘Speak Now’. The LCD display provides remote access to the list of active faults in the PA/VA system, while the EN54 mandated control keys enable navigation through the fault list, and also provide remote fault acceptance and clearance.

The EMS01 has multiple PA/VA system interfaces. It can be connected directly to either one or two of our audio routers, enabling multiple options for system redundancy. The EMS01 will operate in an All-Call hardware bypass safety mode even in the event of processor failure within the host Voice Alarm Router.

There is also a licensed non-EN54 RJ45 Ethernet IP interface with Power over Ethernet capability for VoIP connections to our IP based PA/VA systems. All interconnect cabling and the microphone capsule is continuously monitored foropen and shortcircuits.

Top, bottom and rear cable entry points are provided by means of ‘knock-outs’ in the enclosure, while the field connections are provided by means of a set of terminals on the inside rear panel of the back box.

The EMS01 is compatible with our whole range of Voice Alarm and Public Address systems, and is designed to comply with EN54-16, ISO 7240-16 and BS5839-8. Versions with multiple PA/VA zone select buttons are also available for applications which require this.

Integra Microphone

The MPS01 Modular Paging and Emergency Microphone is a powerful and flexible paging microphone which can provide live, store-and-forward, and recorded message broadcast into user selected zones, and also provides EN54 compliant emergency functions and all EN54 mandatory indicators and controls.

The unit consists of a sloping desk console with a flexible gooseneck paging microphone, graphic LCD display, silent operation ‘Touch to Talk’ touch pad PTT button, and a rotary selector touch control. PA zone selection is provided using the rotary selector and graphic LCD display. There is also a VU bargraph which displays the microphone signal level.

The MPS01 has multiple PA/VA system interfaces. It can be connected directly to either one or two audio routers, enabling multiple options for providing system redundancy. The MPS01 will also operate in an All-Call hardware bypass mode in the event of processor failure within a host Voice Alarm router. All interconnect cabling and the microphone capsule is continuously monitored for open and short circuits.

As well as the main microphone gooseneck, there are 3.5mm jack plug connections for an auxiliary audio input, such as for background music, and for connection of a microphone headset. A general purpose local contact input and output enables use with PTT foot switches
and external speak now indicators.

The unit can be fitted with a uSD card to hold user recorded or pre-recorded audio messages, and custom user chimes, and can be used to replay these messages over the PA system. A speaker is provided on the underside of the console, and this enables preview of the locally stored DVA messages, and also enables remote PA zones to be listened to.

Integra Voice Alarm

The INTEGRA all-in-one network enabled voice alarm solution is available with up to ten channels of amplification. The unit has 12 audio inputs and internal storage for up to 64 recorded messages. With a maximum power of 2000W, integrated audio-over-IP networking, powerful audio processing, and integrated battery supply all in a wall-mount enclosure.

Up to 32 INTEGRA can be linked over IP to enable broadcasts from any location to any combination of zones in large decentralised systems. Ethernet switches enable a voice alarm compliant ring network topology. INTEGRA and the rack mount equivalent VIPEDIA-12 interoperate seamlessly. Each INTEGRA can process up to 6 concurrent audio channels.

Multiple variants are available, from 3 to 10 channels of amplification. Each individual amplifier can deliver up to 500W, with a total maximum overall load on one INTEGRA of 2000W.

Each amplifier provides dual isolatable A and B loudspeaker circuits and supports both DC and Impedance line surveillance.

INTEGRA supports MPS and EMS paging microphones. Two of the twelve microphone inputs provide hardware bypass to ensure continued all-call Emergency microphone operation even if the INTEGRA router’s DSP or CPU have failed. Up to 64 monitored recorded messages can be stored internally, with a total duration of up to 40 minutes.

Powerful DSP based audio processing include input dynamics, individually adjustable digital output delay of up to 5 seconds, and 10 band parametric equalisation.

The unit also includes 12 general purpose control inputs,12 general purpose control outputs and two relay outputs. Inputs are typically used to interface INTEGRA to the Fire Alarm System. Control capability can be expanded to more than 100 GPIO connections using the BMB01 unit if required.
