IR² Flame Detector | Stainless Steel
IR² Flame Detector | Stainless Steel, Flameproof (Exd)
These flame detectors give excellent immunity to false flame sources both indoors or out. They have internal self-test sources that check the detector’s operation when remotely instructed.
They can operate on a conventional 2-wire (14-28 Vdc) fire systems or 4-20mA process control systems. Relay contacts are also available for Fire and Fault signals. The detectors’ operating modes can be user selected giving a choice of alarm currents, response times, latching or non-latching outputs and sensitivity. The detectors have a maximum ambient operating temperature of 55°C.

The technology behind the digital Linear Heat Detection (LHD) cable, makes it suitable for difficult and challenging applications where other technologies struggle to work.
The cable is easy to install and maintain. It also provides a cost effective solution where project expenditure requires this to be kept at a minumum.
The sensing cable is created from a pair of twisted steel conductors, each with their own temperature sensitive insulation. This then has an overall Fluropolymer outer sleeve. When the temperature sensitive insulation reaches it’s predetermined alarm temperature the two conductors short together providing the digital or switched signal.
The cable can be connected to any unit capable of monitoring a switched signal, i.e. Conventional fire panel, addressable switch monitor unit or PLC.
The simple and proven technology of digital Linear Heat Detecting cables (LHD), makes it a product of choice for difficult and challenging applications where other technologies struggle to work.
With it’s ease of installation and low maintenance it also provides a cost effective solution where project expenditure requires to be kept at a minimum.
The sensing cable is formed from a pair of twisted steel conductors each with temperature sensitive insulation and then an overall Nylon outer sleeve. When the temperature sensitive insulation reaches it’s predetermined alarm temperature the two conductors short together providing the digital or switched signal.
