Hochiki Base Sounder Beacon – Ivory case, white LEDs

Model YBO-BSB2 is an addressable loop powered Base Sounder with integral Beacon, innovatively designed to give a range of tones and volumes with a maximum output of up to 98 dB(A) (±2 dB(A)) with low current consumption. The unit is designed to fit to the Standard Base (YBN-R/3) or the Isolator Base YBN-R/3(SCI) and can be fitted with any of the ESP Range of Sensors, Beacons or Remote Indicators.

The unit can also be converted into a wall sounder beacon with the simple addition of a Cap (SI/CAP2). The sounder is Ingress Protection rated to IP21 and for internal use only. An Auto-Shutdown feature allows the user to set a fixed time within which the sounder or beacon will operate, before automatically shutting down, cutting noise pollution in the case of the sounder element*1. Sounder and Beacon elements can be operated independently from each other.

The unit is designed to fit to the Standard Base (YBN-R/3) or the Isolator Bases (YBO-R/SCI or YBN-R/3(SCI)) and can be fitted with any of the ESP Range of Sensors, Beacons or Remote Indicators.

The unit can also be converted into a wall sounder beacon with the simple addition of a Cap (SI/CAP2(WHT)). The sounder is Ingress Protection rated to IP21 and for internal use only. Hochiki Base Sounder/Isolator Cover (White)

A protective cap which has been designed for the YBO-BSB2, but can also be fitted to the previous model (YBO-BSB) and the Base Sounder (YBO-BS) when either of these devices isn’t fitted with a sensor.  The cap is secured via a twist fit.

The cap can also be added to the isolator base, YBN-R/3(SCI) to create a standalone isolator.

Hochiki CHQ Box Sub Assembly

The CHQ-SUB Assembly is a set of replacement components designed to fit any of the existing CHQ Modules: CHQ-DIM(SCI), CHQ-SZM(SCI), CHQ-DZM(SCI), CHQ-DSC(SCI), CHQ-MRC(SCI), CHQ-DRC(SCI), CHQ-ISM and CHQ-PCM.

The sub-assembly consists of the PCB tray, PCB cover and semi-opaque lid and can be used in cases where existing module housing becomes damaged and needs replacement.

Model CHQ-DIM2(SCI) is a Dual Input Module designed to interface to a variety of inputs such as door contacts, sprinkler flow/door switches and plant equipment. Also available as a DIN Rail mountable version; both models feature an integral short-circuit isolator.

A back box is also available (CHQ-BACKBOX) which, when used in conjunction with the CHQ-DIM2(SCI), increases the IP rating to IP65.

Model CHQ-DSC2/DIN(SCI) is a Dual Sounder Controller, which has been designed to provide two sounder outputs (that can be driven separately) with full fault monitoring. The monitored input can be used for local power supply fault monitoring or as a general-purpose input. The unit utilises simple DIL switches for reliable addressing.

Hochiki Dual Zone Monitor (w/ SCI)

Model CHQ-DZM/DIN(SCI) is a Dual Circuit Zone Controller designed to allow up to 60 conventional detectors (30 on each zone) to be interfaced to Hochiki’s ESP analogue addressable system.  The unit also features a Schottky Diode line continuity option, when used inconjunction with the optional LCMU.

Full monitoring against malfunction or disconnection, together with a self-test feature through the ESP protocol, ensure the integrity of the CHQ-DZM/DIN(SCI) at all times.  The unit utilises simple DIL switches for reliable addressing.  It is also available as a boxed module (CHQ-DZM(SCI)).  Both models feature an integral short-circuit isolator.

NOTE: When Resistive EOL option is chosen the conventional zone on the CHQ-DZM/DIN(SCI) does not support any line continuity options, therefore if Call Points are being interfaced they should be wired at the beginning of the zone.
