Marine Approved Dual Relay Controller with SCI
Marine Approved Dual Relay Controller with SCI
Model CHQ-DSC2/M(SCI) is a Marine Approved Dual Sounder Controller, which has been designed to provide two sounder outputs (that can be driven separately) with full fault monitoring. The monitored input can be used for local power supply fault monitoring or as a general-purpose input. The unit utilises simple DIL switches for reliable addressing.
A back box is also available (CHQ-BACKBOX) which, when used in conjunction with the CHQDSC2/M(SCI), increases the IP rating to IP65.
Model ACC-ENM is a Multi-Sensor, which is fully compatible with Hochiki’s ESP Analogue Addressable Protocol, and incorporates a thermal element and High Performance photoelectric smoke chamber.
The ACC-ENM has three modes, which are controlled from the Control Panel, allowing either the optical element or thermal element or both elements to be active in making the fire decision. The sensor polling LEDs can be controlled via the Control Panel (pulsing/non-pulsing). The ACC-ENM smoke chamber can easily be removed or replaced for easy maintenance.
Model CHQ-SZM2/M(SCI) is a Marine Approved Single Zone Monitor designed to allow up to 6 marine approved conventional detectors to be interfaced to Hochiki’s ESP analogue addressable system. The unit also features an integral short-circuit isolator. The CHQSZM2/M(SCI) utilises simple DIL switches for reliable addressing. A back box is also available (CHQ-BACKBOX) which, when used in conjunction with the CHQ-SZM2/M(SCI), increases the IP rating to IP65. The conventional zone on the CHQ-SZM2/M(SCI) does not support any line continuity options; if Call Points are being interfaced they should be wired at the beginning of the zone.
Model HCP-WM(SCI) is a weatherproof Manual Call Point with integral short-circuit isolator, which is fully compatible with Hochiki’s ESP analogue addressable protocol.
The unit incorporates a bi-coloured LED, which can be selected as pulsing/non-pulsing*1 for communications polling and is continuously lit when the unit is operated – in these two states the LED will show red. The LED will show amber when a short-circuit is present but will switch to red if the unit is activated. The unit operates by pressing the EN54 compliant non-frangible (plastic) element and produces a high level ESP interrupt. A built in test function initiated by the control panel ensures the integrity of the device at all times and the device can be tested by insertion of a test key in the underside of the unit.
Two terminal blocks are provided for easy connection to the loop wiring. The unit is addressed using the TCH-B100 Hand Held Programmer for quick and reliable addressing. An optional glass element is also available.
The CHQ-BACKBOX is designed for installations where the CHQ “Smart-Fix” Modules (CHQ-DIM, CHQ-SZM, CHQ-DZM, CHQ-DSC, CHQ-MRC, CHQ-DRC, plus SCI versions) require mounting within a glanded enclosure. The unit features ten knock-outs suitable for cable glands and accepts the CHQ Modules directly as a lid.
The Odyssey Mini Switch Monitor is an interface within an entirely new housing. This allows the unit to be fitted onto a standard 35mm DIN-Rail (using a twist-click motion) or mounted within an enclosure, for example a manual call point.
It is designed to monitor the state of one or more single pole, volt-free contacts connected on a single pair of cables and to report the status to Odyssey compatible analogue addressable control equipment.
The Switch Monitor Plus is designed to monitor the state of one or more single pole, volt-free contacts connected on a single pair of cables and to report the status to Odyssey compatible analogue control equipment.
The Three Channel Input/Output Module offers the benefit of using a single address for three individually-monitored inputs and three outputs, as well as cost savings compared to using a combination of single or twin Input/Output Modules, making it the perfect solution for the following applications:
Key Features:
The Odyssey Input/Output Unit provides a voltage-free, double pole changeover (DPCO) relay output, a single monitored switch input and an un-monitored, non-polarised opto-coupled input.
The Zone Monitor powers and controls the operation of a zone of up to 20 conventional fire detectors from a Odyssey loop.
The Odyssey Sounder Control Unit is used to control the operation of a zone of conventional sounders and report their status to the control panel.
The Intelligent Input/Output Unit provides supervision of one or more normally open contacts connected to a single pair of cables and a set of changeover relay output contacts. Compatible with XP95, Discovery and CoreProtocol digital communication protocols.
Mechanical Construction:
The Intelligent Input/Output Unit is available in the new faceplate style enclosure. This can be mounted with the supplied back-box for surface mounting or flush mounted using a UK double gang, flush mounting back-box of minimum depth 30mm.
Operation:
The Intelligent Input/Output Unit provides supervision of one or more normally open contacts connected to a single pair of cables and a set of changeover relay output contacts.
Key Features:
The Isolator is placed at intervals on the loop and ensures that, in the case of a short circuit, only the section between the isolators will be affected. When the short circuit is removed, the isolators automatically restore power and data to the isolated section.
Key Features:
The Fire Safety Isolating Key Switch provides a secure method for safety isolating the mains voltage supply to fire systems in accordance with BS 5839 Part 1 2002.
Both the live and Neural supply is switched and a fuse is also provided.
The supply can only be isolated by an authorised person, by means of a keylock switch. The key is removable in both ON/OFF positions.
The fuse cannot be removed without taking the cover off.
A neon indicator is provided to indicate mains present at the switched output.
The CHQ-SIM has been designed to allow a single monitored input to be connected to the ESP loop. This provides a compact, low-cost option where the installation of the larger CHQ Range of Modules might be difficult.
The CHQ-SIM features flying leads as well as a wiring terminal block for loop connection, making installation quick and easy. The unit is addressed with the TCH-B100 Hand Held Programmer utilising the on-board programming connector and a PL-3 lead.
