Our Approach
A local industrial warehouse and office building in Hampshire was undergoing refurbishment for use by the NHS as a potential Covid overflow hospital. The building required a new fire alarm system as the existing one was inadequate for the new requirement to protect lives within the facility.
Peter Le Lion, Fire Alarm Technician at Uni-Guard, says: “As you can imagine there was an urgent need to get the project up and ready as quickly as possible. We designed the project, received the go ahead within a matter of days and had to start the installation as soon as possible.”

Our Solution
A fully addressable fire alarm system comprising Eurotech’s Odyssey addressable devices and a Eurotech intelligent control panel was chosen as the most suitable option due to the speed of installation and the component’s reliability. Eurotech’s Odyssey addressable detectors forms part of a range of aesthetically pleasing low profile detection and alarm products, and is fully compatible with all fire control equipment utilising the Eurotech fully digital communication protocol.

This allowed us to complete the installation ahead of a very tight schedule and also within the budget.”
