🧗 Over £13,000 Raised So Far 🧗
We’re delighted to announce that following our terrifying 100m abseil down the Spinnaker Tower on Saturday, we’ve now raised over £13,000 for the Portsmouth Hospitals Charity!
First, we had the Eurotech Team 15,000 feet Skydive in 2022, followed by James Aherne’s Manchester Marathon in 2023. Now, following the 100m Spinnaker Tower abseil the total raised to date hit an amazing £13,255 including gift aid. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us reach this incredible amount.
Portsmouth Hospitals Charity is a charity particularly close to the hearts of Michelle, Vincent, and Caron Agius and money raised is in memory of their amazing parents Vince and Barbara Agius.
Michelle says: “During 2020 and 2021 Caron, Vincent and I sadly lost our wonderful parents Barbara and Vince Agius. Eurotech Fire Systems Ltd’s chosen charity is the Portsmouth Hospitals Charity in memory of our wonderful parents. The QA Hospital did a fantastic job of looking after and caring for them.”
Portsmouth Hospitals Charity supports the work of Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust to help enhance patient care and support staff welfare, and funds a range of projects including improvement to existing facilities, the purchase of new and state-of-the-art equipment, staff training, and helps foster research and innovation.
This won’t be the last fundraising event for Eurotech but if you’d like to support our cause in the meantime, please follow the link below.
