Our Approach
The Boat House apartments and the refurbishment of the historic Purifier House, a Grade ll listed building which was an old gasworks, form part of the redevelopment of Bristol Harbour.
Following a recent fire risk assessment, it was clear the wooden-clad apartment building could easily combust in the event of a fire. Adept Fire & Security was tasked to design, supply, install and commission a new wireless fire alarm and detection system in the block of 10 waterfront apartments.
Adept partnered with Eurotech Fire Systems Ltd to provide the best solution for this unique building. With Eurotech’s assistance, a radio integrity test was completed prior to the system installation. This ensured that the correct infrastructure device quantities and locations were identified.
The Evotech AS by Eurotech Lite addressable control panel was selected alongside Euro-fi heat detection and wall sounders as the most suitable system for this installation.

Adept successfully designed, installed and commissioned a state-of-the-art wireless fire detection and alarm system at The Boat House in Bristol. By installing Euro-fi by Eurotech wireless detection that was pre-programmed by Eurotech prior to installation significantly sped up the installation process minimising disruption to existing residents.
